Epinal is playing in National (3rd division) and Nantes is a Ligue 2 team.
After creating the biggest surprise of last round, Epinal have gone on to reach the last 32 of this Coupe de France. They managed to beat Lyon in a crazy 4-3 win (after penalties) even though Lyon had most of their regular starters playing. In the National league, they are in terrible shape: 19th out of 20 with a 2-8-8 record and 5 losses in their last 5 games.
Nantes are doing much better in their own league. 2nd, two points away from the leader Monaco, they should be back in Ligue 1 next season if they don’t collapse in the second half of the season. When playing away from home, they are doing very good (4-4-2).

In the days following this major achievement, everyone has been talking about this Epinal’s win over Lyon and I think it will put more pressure on them as they are more expected to repeat it. Of course, like in any cup, surprises are likely to happen but I believe Nantes will be focused enough to go further in that one. I would back Nantes at 1.98 with Pinnacle.
