NANTES v AUXERRE: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Nantes of Ligue 1 have had a decent start to the season and sit in 5^th with 9 wins, 2 draws and 7 defeats. At home they are pretty strong with 5 wins and 4 defeats; This run includes home losses to PSG, Monaco and Lille so it’s looks weaker than it is – they will win a lot more home games now those three are out the way.  Recent form is mixed with 4 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats. Auxerre of Ligue 2 look a classic French side in that they are unbeaten at home but yet to win away. Sitting in 12^th they are 10 points off top spot.  The away form is awful with 3 draws and 5 defeats with just 3 goals scored.

The odds on this quarter final are moving in the favour of Auxerre but I cannot follow it as Auxerre are atrocious on the road.  Nantes may choose to rest players but a few back up men should still be too good for Auxerre. The big name of Auxerre has fallen since the departure of Guy Roux and they are mired in midtable in Ligue 2, neared bottom than top.
