Bordeaux has earned seven points in seven matches, as is down in 16th place at the moment. They have won one match, lost two and managed draws in the remaining four. At home they have lost 1-2 to Reims, beaten Nantes 2-0 and tied 1-1 with Toulouse. Last weekend they lost a whopping 6-1 away to Nice, but had one man sent off in the 50th minute and four of the goals came afterwards. In the Europa League they tied 1-1 at home against Liverpool, and will next week visit Rubin Kazan. For tonight’s match new players unavailable are: Crivelli (attack) and Guilbert (CB). Toure (attack), Diabate (attack) and Sertic (DM) are all still out. The striker Thelin returns and is likely to start together with Rolan up front.

Lyon has 12 points and sit in fifth place, four points behind a Champions League spot. They have won three matches, tied three, and lost one (at home against Rennes). At the moment they are undefeated in last five matches (two wins and three draws), including a 1-1 draw away to Gent in the Champions League. Next week they will host Valencia in the Champions League.
