BORDEAUX V MONTPELLIER PREDICTIONS   

Both teams are in the fight for a European ticket in this Ligue 1, even though it seems like Bordeaux is already out of this fight.

The home side is standing in 9^th position with 43 points. They have won just one of their last   8 Ligue 1 games. Last week they lost 1-0 in Marseille, in a game where Bordeaux had only  one shot on goal. It is not new that Bordeaux doesn’t have much talent in offense, but  midfields like Plasil and Obraniak used to have a bigger impact on the game. When playing    in their Chaban-Delmas stadium, Bordeaux won 5 of its 15 games, drawing in 7 and losing 3. They are the weakest offense of the league at home (along with Nancy), with only 13 goals scored in those 15 games.

Montpellier just won 3-1 at home against Ajaccio which allows them to keep hoping for a Europa League ticket. They are currently in 7^th position with 48 points. When they play away, they are not doing so well with a 4-2-9 record. They have lost in 4 of their last 5 trips.

Three players are back in Bordeaux’s group in the strikers Diego Rolan and Bellion, and their playmaker Ben Khalfallah.
