BORDEAUX V PSG STATS AND FACTS

Bordeaux who is standing in 4^th position of this Ligue 1 is still unbeaten at home but with many draws (3-6-0 home record). After 4 draws in a row in Ligue 1, they won an important game in Rennes (0-2) conceding only 3 shots on goal in the whole game.

Paris (2^nd) is 5-3-1 when playing away. Last weekend, they couldn’t convert any of their 16 shots (against only 4 for Ajaccio) into a goal. Ajaccio’s goalkeeper Memo Ochoa did a good game, but Parisians were way too inaccurate. Paris’ last win in Bordeaux was in 2005.

TEAM NEWS AND 1X2 PREDICTIONS

For the home team, both Maurice-Belay and Yoan Gouffran are very doubtful. Obraniak, Bordeaux’s best player has been injured for over a month, so even if he’s playing, he will not be able to play 90 minutes, and will definitely be far from his best condition.

In Paris, the Thiagos are out. Motta is suspended after his red card against Ajaccio, and Silva is injured for 3-4 weeks. Ancelotti hasn’t played too much with Alex and Sakho in central defense so they might have some issues as they need to get used to play with each other. Regarding offense, we should see Lucas Moura starting the game once again, instead of Pastore or Menez. Lucas has shown some very interesting skills and an amazing speed in his first game last weekend.

This game is very difficult to envisage. Bordeaux doesn’t concede many goals, and Paris has been inefficient last weekend so it could be very tight. I think Paris has enough players to make the difference individually though, so I would go for Paris at 2.05 with Betsson.
