LYON V PSG PREDICTIONS  

This is by far the most exciting game of the end of that Ligue 1 season. Both teams have high objectives and will have quite a lot of pressure on their shoulders.

Lyon is sitting in 3^rd position, currently getting a ticket for the next Champion’s League qualifications. They have a total of 63 points, 4 points behind Marseille, so the 2^nd spot is nearly impossible to reach for Lyon now. They will try and make sure to consolidate this position which is vital for such a club. They won 3 of their last 5 games, with a draw and a loss. It seems like the coach found a good pair of midfielders in Grenier and Gourcuff. At home, they have a 10-4-3 record.

Paris Saint-Germain could be officially Ligue 1 champions if they win this game, or if Marseille doesn’t manage to beat Toulouse. They have a bit less pressure than Lyon as Paris has a 7-point advantage over Marseille (2^nd) with 3 games left to play. They will just look to avoid a stressful last couple games in Ligue 1. Last week, Paris didn’t manage to take the 3 points at home against Valenciennes, drawing 1-1, with Thiago Silva receving a very unfair red card just before half-time.

Because of their behaviour problems, PSG has received a lot of red cards recently and several players will be missing this game such as Sirigu, Thiago Silva, Verratti and Beckham. Lucas Moura is injured and is also out for the game, but Paris has enough bench to cope with it.
