MARSEILLE v MONTPELLIER: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS
Marseille only played on Tuesday and may be feeling the effects here. They have had a very poor Champions League, losing all five games in a group of death with Napoli, Arsenal & Dortmund. In the Ligue 1 they are sitting in 4th with 7 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. Recent form is a little mixed with 2 wins 1 draw and 3 defeats. Out for Marseille are Rod Fanni and Andre Ayew. Montpellier will have fresher legs for sure but at the moment they cannot get out of the habit of drawing. So far this season they have drawn 9 of their 14 games. With just 3 defeats only the top three have lost fewer than Montpellier though. Recent form is not great with 4 draws and 2 losses. Clean bill of health for Montpellier too.
Montpellier have a huge advantage of fitness levels as they have had a whole week to recover. Marseille had another Champions League runaround as they lost for the 5th time, out of their depth against three of the best sides in Europe. Montpellier are very difficult to beat and I feel they will set their stall out for a point again. Price is huge here and the best value in the game.
