Its been a very strange season for Montpellier so far. With 17 of their 32 Ligue 1 games ending in a draw. At home not many teams have left with a win and a record of 4 wins, 9 draws and 3 losses show how tough they are. Recent form is mixed though with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses.  Victor Montano will be out for the home side along with Mathue Deplagne. Marsielle are clinging on to  an outside hope of 4^th as third does seem beyond them now.  They are 5^th with 48 points and are just 10 above the hosts but are separated by 7 teams. Away from for Marseille is good for a French side with 5 wins, 7 draws and 4 losses. Recent form reads 1 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses.  Florian Thauvin is the only absentee for the away side.

Its surpises me still that despits 17 draws so far this season from 32 games you can still get a stalemate at a decent price. Montpellier are just so hard to keep down not many teams are capable of getting past them. They don’t seem to have the ability to kick on either so games tend to fizzle out.  There has been a move on the draw and some bookmakers go 2-1 or 3.00. William hills still show 3.20 and that’s a good price here.
