NICE V LYON PREDICTIONS 

This is by far the most interesting game of this Ligue 1 37^th round, between two teams who are in the fight for the European spots.

The home side is sitting in 5^th position with 60 points collected so far. They had a brilliant season, way above their objective, and are now aiming to finish it with a European qualification. They won 3 of their last 5 games, losing the other two. Last weekend, they totally failed in their game in Evian, where they lost 4-0, although Evian had played a few days earlier while Nice was resting. At home, they won 11 of their 18 games, drawing in 4 and losing in 3.

Lyon is still holding its 3^rd spot that would give them a ticket for the next Champion’s league qualifications. They have 63 points, 7 points less than Marseille (2^nd) so no chance left to get the 2^nd spot back. Lyon also lost last weekend, but it was a bit more expected. They were hosting Paris who won 1-0 and officially won the Ligue 1 title on Lyon’s pitch. Away, Lyon has a 8-5-5 record.

Lyon won their first head-to-head this season, 3-0 in Lyon but Nice was not running as well back then. There were two red cards in that game, and we can expect another very rough game here.
