PSG V NANCY PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Paris is still sitting on top of this Ligue 1, but they now have only two points more than Lyon after their surprising loss in Reims (1-0). When playing home, they won 9 games, drew three times and lost twice. It is the best home defence with only 7 goals conceded in those 14 home games.

Nancy finally left its last spot of the table to Troyes after their 2-1 win in Sochaux. They now have 21 points and are still 6 points behind Sochaux (17^th). With 11 games left to play, their chance of staying in Ligue 1 next season is extremely low. When playing away, they have a 2-4-7 record.

Paris is obviously huge favourite here, but we have to keep in mind that they played against Valencia on Wednesday. Paris qualified for the Champion’s League quarter-finals after an unexciting 1-1 draw at home.

In their last 3 league games, Paris has lost twice and it was against two much smaller teams (Reims and Sochaux). One was after a CL game and the other just before. It looks like they are not used to show the same commitment whether it is a European game or a championship one.

Christophe Jallet, PSG’s right back, will be missing this game so Van der Wiel will start instead. But both Thiago Motta and Silva are now back in the squad which will help Ancelotti a lot in the control of the match.

I don’t think Paris will lose a 3^rd game in a month against a team fighting against the relegation, especially knowing that Lyon will play on Sunday against Marseille and they could lose some points on the way.
