Reims (10^th) got promoted this season and they are surprisingly doing pretty well so far with 4 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses. Especially when they are playing at home where they are still undefeated (4 wins and 2 draws).

Evian (17^th), as expected, is struggling to avoid relegation zone since the start of the season. They won twice, drew twice and lost 6 games. In 4 games played outside of their lands, Evian lost 3 of them and won once. However, they played a game less than Reims (Sochaux-Evian has been postponed).

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Stade de Reims lost 1-0 on last week-end against Rennes. However, Reims’s players have shown some courage in this game as they were in numerical inferiority after only 14 minutes. When they are playing at home, Stade de Reims is one of the best team of the league, offering a good offensive football. They will be without left back Souare (suspended) to face Evian on Saturday.

Evian is having a busy week with 2 games to play away, against Sochaux on Wednesday and in Reims on Saturday. They will have to improve their offensive efficiency to avoid a third loss in a row as they didn’t score a goal since October 6^th and a win in Montpellier (2-3). Striker Saber Khlifa scored the 3 goals in this game and got seriously injured since, which is a major issue for Evian as his substitute Sagbo did not look confident so far.
