RENNES V PSG PREDICTIONS     

Rennes, who are in a very disappointing 10^th position, are hosting the leader of this Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain.

The home side is now on a streak of 6 games without a win (2 draws and 4 losses). The most worrying point being that they lost their last two matches against much weaker teams: 1-0 loss in Reims (16^th) followed by a horrible 2-0 home loss against Nancy (19^th). At home they have a pretty poor 6-4-5 record.

Paris, on the other hand, are in great shape, having a highway towards the title ahead of them. They have a 7 point margin over Marseille. Last week, they took the 3 points at home in a 1-0 win over Montpellier. It wasn’t an easy one as they all had their mind on the Champion-s League. And on Tuesday they actually got a great 2-2 home draw against FC Barcelona. They showed a lot of mental, being down a goal twice and coming back to tie at the last second.

With such an advance in this Ligue 1, we can expect Ancelotti to use the bench quite a lot in this game, as the 2^nd leg in Barcelona will be held on next Wednesday. They will also probably feel an unconscious slackening after this amazing game a few days ago.

RENNES – PSG BETTING TIPS

This game looks a bit like last week’s one for Paris. We can expect them not to be 100% motivated for this match, but at the same time, they have a much better squad than their opponents. Moreover, Rennes has had terrible results lately, so I will rely on Paris’ substitutes (who would all be starters in any other team of the league) to take over.
