ST-ETIENNE V BORDEAUX PREDICTIONS   

St-Etienne are standing in 4^th position in this Ligue 1 table, with a total of 58 points collected in 34 games. There are 4 games left to play, and since the home side is already qualified for the next Europa League (after their Coupe de la Ligue title), they are now looking for an even better outcome. They would be playing the Champion’s league qualifications if they were to finish 3^rd this season. They are just two points behind Lyon (3^rd) so they still have time to do it.

Last week, St-Etienne drew 1-1 in Lyon which was a good result on a direct opponent’s pitch. When playing on their own field, the Greens have a solid 10-3-4 record.

Bordeaux are in 9th position, but as we mentioned last week, their final Ligue 1 ranking is not a problem anymore. They managed to qualify for the Coupe de France semi-finals and they have a great opportunity to win it considering the teams left at this stage. So they are just two wins away from completing their objective which is qualifying for the Europa league. When playing away, they have a 5-7-5 record.

Bordeaux’s semifinal in Coupe de France will be played on Tuesday, so the coach will not take any risk with his squad. He left Tremoulinas, Diabaté and Maurice-Belay at home.
