VALENCIENNES V MONTPELLIER PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS

Valenciennes is the big surprise of this first third of Ligue 1. They are standing in the 5^th position. They won 6 games, drew 3 times, and lost 3 matches as well. They collected 21 points so far, making them only two points away from the top. This team is traditionally struggling around the relegation zone, so this is really surprising to see them performing so well. On their pitch it’s the most impressive, as they have a 4-2 record and only 3 goals conceded in those 6 home games.

On the other side, Montpellier is another surprise, but in a negative way. They were showing a lot of enthusiasm and solidarity last year when they won the title, but this season they don’t give that feeling anymore. They are 3-4-5 on the season, making them standing in 14^th position. Away, they are 2-1-3.
