FORTUNA DUSSELDORF - COTTBUS: PREDICTIONS

Week 1 of Germany Bundesliga 2 comes to an end with the Monday night game of Fortuna Dusseldorf v Cottbus.

Fortuna Dusseldorf are two times German Championship winners but have had little success over the recent years.  Dropping as low as the 4^th tier in the German league pyramid in 2002. In 2004 however the side from the North Rhine went on a remarkable run that took them from the 4^th tier all the way to the top division, the Bundesliga. Last year was a highlight in recent decades but they struggled all year and ended up in 17^th position and relegation back to 2^nd Division.
