They have not scored more than a solitary goal in all of those eight games, and exits from the Champions league, and domestic cup in that period have really dented confidence it seems. Leverkusen have won all five previous meetings with Hoffenheim played at home, and really do need to keep that run going if they are to hang onto the fourth Champions league slot. Hoffenheim (7-8-10) have suffered a couple of heavy defeats the last twice, but had enjoyed a couple of good wins prior to that. Still not looking entirely safe on 29 points, the team with easily the highest goals per game record in Bundesliga still need a few more points to be comfortable. R Kruse(mid) is the only injury miss for Leverkusen, and Abraham(def) out for Hoffenheim.
