Bayer Leverkusen is a solid home side this Bundesliga season. So far the stat is 7-2-0. Dortmund is 5-4-1 away from home. In terms of form Leverkusen has started the second half of the season with a win at home against Frankfurt and an away draw to Freiburg. Dortmund has found their match winning rhythm it seems. They crushed Werder Bremen 5-0 away, and beat Nurnberg 3-0 at home.

Since, and including 2011 this fixture has been played twice. Dortmund has won once (3-1). The other ended 0-0.The reverse fixture this season ended 3-0 for Dortmund. Leverkusen produced 16 shots on target that match against Dortmund’s 12, so the end result was a little to flattering.

None of the teams have suspended players, and there aren’t any new injuries to report. Kadlec and Bellarabi are still missing for Bayer Leverkusen. Subotic will still be out for Dortmund.
