BORUSSIA MGLADBACH V WERDER BREMEN PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Gladbach are having a disappointing year after their excellent 4^th place finish last year.  They are currently in 9^th place in the Bundesliga with 34 points from 24 matches and have won just 1 of their last 5 matches.  With 2 defeats and 2 draws to go along with that win Gladbach have fallen down the table but are still just 2 points outside a Europa League spot and 4 points off the final Champions League spot, but with 5 teams ahead of them in that race it’ll be difficult to overtake them all.

Werder Bremen are having an even worse year and are in a disappointing 14^th spot in the table with 28 points form 24 games.  They have lost 3 straight league games, including 2 at home, and have sharply fallen down the table.  With the expectations at the start of the season the Bremen fans will certainly not be happy about this.

Both sides are obviously struggling with form but Gladbach are coming off a win away at 4^th placed Eintracht Frankfurt which will give them plenty of confidence.  Whether that result was a one off or the start of an improved run of form we will have to wait and see but I would expect Gladbach to be strong here with their generally good home record.
