FRANKFURT V AUGSBURG PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS

Frankfurt are now winless in their last three games (2 losses and 1 draw) but retain third place in the standings, a point ahead of reigning champions Borussia Dortmund.. They are very strong at home so far with 4 wins and 2 draws where they scored 14 goals and conceded 9.

Augsburg’s start of season is the worse of their history with only 1 win from 11 matches, 3 draws and 7 losses. They are the bottom of the table with 6 points and are already 5 points away from first team out of relegation zone. They have the worst attacking side of the league with ony 6 goals scored in 11 games.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Frankfurt ‘s team have suffered a 2-0 defeat away to Bayern Munchen who therefor remain at the top of the league. Eintracht showed a decent performance against the title contender despite the loss which confirm the promissing start of season. Indeed, Frankfurt’s performance was impressive and should be a good foundation for the weeks to come. Goalkeeper Trapp showed an excellent performance and it was interesting to see how Frankfurt’s players kept sticking to their offensive approach, even where they were down to one goal. This game at home against Augsburg will be a good opportunity to get closer to Schalke (2^nd).

This season looks like last season for Augsburg, even worst despite having brought in a number of players during summer. Considering their current form, they will have huge difficulties to avoid relegation this year. Moreover, goalkeeper Jentzsch got injured during the game against Dortmund last week and should be out for couple of matches.
