MAINZ V LEVERKUSEN : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Mainz  have lost their last two games after winning their first three, the latest a 1-0 home loss to Schalke. The scoreline could have been bigger though as the visitors dominated the game. Cameroon striker Choupo Moting was one of the only bright spots with a lively display. They had won their previous two home games and will hope for a return to form here. A big miss with injury will be midfielder Zimling who has a muscle tear and striker Parker and defender Bungert also miss out. Mainz have won four of the seven meetings of the teams here, and have been the winners in the last two seasons.

Leverkusen well beaten 4-2 at Old Trafford in the champions league in midweek, but  in the league they have started well with four wins in their five games.  Last week they ran out 3-1 winners at home to Wolfsburg where Sidney Sam was exceptional in midfield along with last years top scorer Stefan Kiesling who scored two. Their only league loss came away at Schalke, and key midfielder Castro is out injured here which is a blow for the team.
