NURNBERG V SCHALKE 04 PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

This match sees two of the most inform teams in the Bundesliga take the field and could go a long way to deciding who gains a Champions League spot next season.

Nurnberg had a poor first half to the year which left them in the bottom half of the table.  They are currently 11^th with 31 points from 25 games but are unbeaten in their last 6 games, 2 wins and 4 draws.  They will look to keep the unbeaten run going and move up to the top half of the table.

Schalke also had a very disappointing first half to the season and have turned things round.  They have won 3 straight league games to move into 4^th place and the final Champions League spot and will feel they are favourites to hold onto it ahead of the very tight chasing pack.  They lost a very exciting game midweek against Galatasaray 3-2 to go out of the Champions League.  This is obviously very disappointing as it was a winnable tie but they can now concentrate on their league performances.

Schalke will likely be missing striker Jan Klaas Huntelaar and young Finnish striker Teemu Pukki replaced him midweek.
