SCHALKE V AUGSBURG : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS
Schalke have only eight points from seven played (223), but there are reasons for optimism of them climbing the table rapidly. A midweek Champions league triumph over Basel means they sit top of their group, and a comprehensive loss to Bayern aside recent form has been good overall. Last game in Bundesliga they led 2-0 and 3-1 against Hoffenheim, yet managed to give two points away carelessly in the 3-3 draw. Midfield wonder kid Draxler returned with a goal in midweek, but another key midfielder Farfan limped off there and joins Huntelaar and Drachs on the injury list. The two most recent meetings of the teams here have resulted in 3-1 victories for Schalke.
Augsburg will be quite happy with their form as they lie eighth with ten points (313), and last week drew 2-2 at home to Gladbach, a late equaliser from sub Milik rescuing a deserved point. Striker Bobadilla is the only real injury miss for this tough game, and Altintop the veteran striker will carry the main offensive threat.
