STUTTGART V NURNBERG PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Stuttgart are 12^th in the Bundesliga with 28 points from 22 matches.  Despite being just 4 places ahead of the relegation zone they are 12 points clear thanks to the bottom three sides being far adrift of the rest.  In fact Stuttgart are only 6 points off 6^th place Hamburger and a European place next season, which shows just how tight the 10 places form 5^th-15^th are this season. Stuttgart were on a terrible run of form with 4 straight defeats but a win in their last match at Hoffenheim was a much needed boost.

Nurnberg are 2 points behind their opponents today in 14^th place, but again seem relatively safe from relegation.  They have had mixed form lately with 1 win, 3 draws and 1 defeat in their last 5 matches and they’ll feel they can move up the table if they keep up these type of performances.

Neither team has much to play for short term but a strong run of results could see either in the top half and on the hunt for a European place.

Despite their recent poor run Stuttgart seem to have turned their form around somewhat.  After their first win in 5 in the league they won away at Genk in the Europa league to put them through to the next round, a result which should bring them a lot of confidence.
