AZ – AJAX: PREDICTIONS
Massive game in Alkmaar as AZ host league favourites Ajax, it’s a local derby of sorts and should be an exciting match.
AZ Alkmaar went into their 1st game against Heerenveen strongly fancied to make the top three but were clearly second best in the game. Losing 4-2 away in a really eventful match. Alkmaar had a man adavantage for half of the 2nd period but could not take control of the match.
Ajax hammered Roda 3-0 in their opening fixture at the Ajax Arena. The side were not actually that impressive in a sense they didn’t really lay siege to the Roda goal. They played within themselves for sure which makes the 3-0 result all the more valid. With a game against huge rivals Feyenoord coming up Ajax will want to continue in a winning vein.
