TOGO V TUNISIA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Last and final game in group “D” of the African Cup of Nations. Both Togo and Tunisia have three points. Togo only needs a draw to qualify to the quarter-finals.        

Togo lost their first game against the leaders of group “D” after a late goal in the 88^th minute.  They easily defeated Algeria in their second game after a goal and assist by their star player E.Adebayor. He will once again be their weapon of choice. They impressed me a lot so far in this year’s AFCON. They are the underdogs in this square off. Togo has three wins and two losses in their last five games.

Tunisia is the favourite and they have to go forward if they want to have a chance to advance further in to the quarter-finals. Tunisia won their first game against a very poor Algeria and lost big time against the leaders of group “D” the Ivory Coast in the second. They have only scored one goal so far, that was against a weak Algeria in the  91^st minute.  They only have one win in their last five matches. Tunisia’s all-time best scorer is back, Issam Jemma will be their most important player.

I think Togo will be able to force a draw and continue in to the quarter-finals. They are above in strength and their recent form looks really good. They would not be too aggressive though, since a draw is enough and considering that they actually never had advanced to the playoffs. Togo wouldn’t want to miss out on this chance. Tunisia just can’t beat a fired up Togo.
