Manchester City will field a very strong side as usual. Up front Tevez, Dzeko, Balotelli and Aguero should be fit for selection. Dortmund as well should be ready to rumble. Lewandowski did not feature in the 5-0 trashing against Gladbach this weekend, perhaps due to the ongoing contract negotiations? He wasn't missed though as star-in-the-making Reus was on fire against his old club.

Manchester City are slowly but surely starting to find their feet in the English Premier League. After displaying weakness in defence things have picked up slightly. Even if they lack some of that solid defensive unity that was the platform for their title last season they have plenty of formidable attacking options. There is no doubt that this Manchester City side has many strings to play on, and coach Mancini can trick and mix with the starting eleven as he sees fit. Dortmund has developed plenty of fine talent, and have won the Bundesliga back to back. This year it looked like they were heading for some trouble, but the 5-0 demolition job against Gladbach really must have kick started their season.

I expect this game to be slightly dominated by Manchester City, 51-60% possession seems realistic. This even if the German side loves playing fast paced pass and move on the ground. In general this means it will be a grind for the home side to tear down the Dortmund defence while avoiding giving the German chamions too many opportunities to get on with counter attacks. That said; Dortmund will get enough possession time to make it count as well. It is likely they will get five to ten shots fired on target, and with talent such as Lewandowski, Reus, Gotze, Perišić and BÅ‚aszczykowski likely to fire them conversion may easily be the case even if they're up against world beater Joe Hart in the Manchester City goal.

Manchester City are getting experienced at grinding down enemy defenses. They have proven time and time again they can do it. With clinical finishers up front I can't see them not scoring in this game.Dortmund is by any standard a very good team, but I feel they still have to mature a bit in order to take one more step forward in Europe. This is a team that enjoys playing ball, in Germany they're stll offered a bit more time and space. Against a top British side, forget that. I can't see Dortmund having enough possession in this game for them to do fulfill their massive potential no matter how good they will be on the break.

My predictions for Asian Handicap are based on the fact that these are two good sides, that Manchester City is leaking slightly in defence but got plenty of offensive firepower and that Dortmund tend to get plenty shots of goal even if they're dominated possession wise. I do think City will win it, but I do not want to predict the goal superiority come the final whistle. I will rather look for a narrow handicap. A -0.75 handicap should be fine.
