Both their draw last time against Galatasaray and the away win to Braga were undeserved in my opinion. Cluj will look to Kapetanos for goals, especially if Rafael Bastos can't play. Cluj in general can create danger with their honed technical skills and ability to go forward at the right time.

Galatasaray have fired 16 shots on goal in their 3 games so far, and only scored 1. That is a pathetic 6.25% conversion rate. It must be said they deserved more against Manchester United, and against Cluj last time around. That Elmander is out weakens the offense for sure, but Yılmaz and Bulut are both very capable strikers, and could play together up front. I am more worried that the offensive support from the midfield is relatively weak. Galatasaray rely too much on their strikers.

Cluj has an impressive defence, one got to give it to them. Galatasaray struggle for goals, here they are further weakened in terms of trickery and conversion. For me: Galatasaray have been underperforming in the above mentioned stats, and Cluj must have over performed slightly. For Galatasaray it's do or die in this tie, so they will have to go forward. Cluj will be fairly happy with a draw, so they can remain in their compact formation. The Galatasaray need to attack also does leave the door open for the home side counter attacks.

I suspect Galatasaray is the better side overall, but away from home against a side that are good at taking their chances looks tough. In a normal setting I would perhaps look at the draw, but since it doesn't really help Galatasaray it feels like the 1 and the 2 is the most interesting. I just can't see many good arguments for the over 2.5 goal line. The only scenario would be if Galatasaray could find the back of the net real quick, then either get one more within a short time, or a Cluj equalizer thrown in their lap.
