Chelsea will receive a “welcome to hell” when they visit Istanbul, and Mourinho knows this is a very tough game to get through. Qualifying at the expense of a quality Juventus side in Group B, Galatasaray are a very decent side. Aside from beating Juventus at home here this season, last year Gala beat both Man Utd and Real, so Chelsea know what to expect. Galatasaray are unbeaten in fifteen domestic matches since the victory over Juventus, and a derby win over Besiktas last weekend means they are in great shape. Chelsea qualified from one of the weaker groups, but still managed to lose home and away to Basel. Current form is solid if unspectacular, but it has seen them to the top of the EPL standings. Mourinho is a master at grinding out results, but he will need to get everything right to get the right result in this tough first leg.
