Galatasaray hasn’t had the brightest of starts domestically with 1-3-0 so far. They’ll surely take consolidation in the fact they haven’t lost a game yet. The club has a decent and experienced squad with the likes of Sneijder, Drogba, Yilmaz, Altintorp and Melo so they should be ready to play a good Champions League game. Personally I am not so sure Galatasaray have gone in the right direction bringing in ageing talent, and not focusing on building a quality side bottom up with youth. In my opinion too many of the key players are over 30 or close to. Here Altintorp is out, and there are some doubts surrounding a few more players. Expect them to be fit though!
Real Madrid is 3-1-0 domestically, and played 2-2 away to Villarreal on the weekend. New boy Gareth Bale featured in the starting eleven and scored. Ozil has left, but Isco even if he is young is a one of a kind talent, so I can understand why Ancelotti goes with him! Coentrao is now out injured together with Marcelo, Alonso and Varane. Real Madrid has enough squad depth to deal with this.

In a group stage match like this with no previous result interfering I am fairly sure Real Madrid prove to be too good for Galatasaray. Player by player the Spanish are heads and shoulders above the ageing squad of Galatasaray. 1.57 (4/7) from William Hill is available. I do not expect it to come kick off.
