PORTO V DINAMO ZAGREB PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Porto are top of the Primeira Liga with 23 points from 9 matches and remain undefeated, winning 7 and drawing 2.  They have won their last 4 matches by an aggregate of 11-2 and are in excellent form.  In the Champions League they have won 3 of their 4 matches and top the group with 10 points. 

Zagreb are running away with the HNL title and look set to win it for an 8^th straight year.  They have 38 points after 16 games which gives them a 10 point lead over the chasing pack.  In the Champions League things have not gone to plan however and 4 straight defeats leaves them bottom and out of contention in the group.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Porto have not missed a beat this season despite losing some top players again in the summer.  Hulk, Guarin and Pereira all moved on for good fees and were replaced by cheaper options.  As usual though Porto’s scouting team has come up amazing and the players are performing excellently, most notably their two Columbain forwards in Martinez and Rodriguez who have 14 league goals between them already.

Zagreb lacks the resources of their opponents today and have to make do with mostly free players.  They still manage to build a team that can dominate in Croatia and the money from the Champions League certainly helps.  Their future looks bright with a fairly young squad and some high quality players.

Porto are huge favourites for this and it is hard to see past them when you look at the quality of their side and Dinamo’s horrible Champions League record this year.
