Peru take on Brazil in Massachussetts to decide the winner of Group B and see who faces off with Colombia in the knockout stages. Both sides have beaten Haiti and drew with Ecuador. As it stands Brazil are in the driving seat as they put 7 past Haiti. Both sides have the added luxury of playing after Ecuador so they will both know what they need. If Ecuador win by 2 goals or more then Peru have to win to go through. If Ecuador win by 1 it gets complicated and goes down to goals scored so will depend on how many they score by. Casemiro is suspended while Joao Miranda is fit but will take his place on the bench. Peru have slight doubts over Renato Tapia and Alberto Rodriguez but both should be ok to play. Recent head to heads for the two sides show 10 wins for Brazil and just 1 for Peru with 3 draws. You have to go all the way back to 1960 for that solitary win.
Brazil don’t have to over exhert themselves and batter Peru a win will do with 1 or 2 goals. For that I am reluctant to take the high handicaps. I take Brazil half time full time at 2.20 or 6-5 with Williamhill.
