Guarani of Asuncion, Paraguay host Racing Club of Avellaneda, Argentina in this quarter final in Copa Libertadores. Guarani are in 2nd place in the 2015 Apertura of Paraguay after 20 games. In this years Copa Lib they had 4 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat. Home form is solid with 3 wins and 1 draw. Last round they pulled off a spectacular two legged romp over Corinthians of Brazil – winning both games without conceding. Racing Club topped the same group that Guarani were in with 4 wins and 2 losses. In 1st knockout stage they beat Wanderers of Uruguay 3-2 on aggregate with a win at home and a draw in Montevideo.
Both sides played each other twice in qualifying and due to the quirks of qualification they meet again here.
