Portugal will be looking to get off and running in this Group F clash with tournament virgins Iceland. Portugal qualified top of one of the toughest sections. Winning 7 of 8 games and leading Albania, Denmark, Serbia and Armenia. Friendlies have been mixed with wins over Belgium, Luxembourg, Estonia and Norway but losses to England, Bulgaria and Russia. Quaresma is a slight doubt here which is annoying for them as he was immense in the last game in Estonia. Iceland made their 1st ever final with a 2nd place finish behind Czechs. They finished above Turkey and Netherlands to show the fantastic performance in going through. In recent friendlies however they haven’t been on top form. Wins over Greece, Liechtenstein and Finland have gone with many losses. They were beaten by U.A.E, Poland, Slovakia, USA, Denmark and Norway in a bad run of results. Portugal should have too much in attack for Iceland. With Ronaldo the main threat all over the pitch Iceland will have their hands full. Portugal have dangers in other positions though and I see a comfortable win for Portugal. Take them at -1 at 2.03 with Pinnacle.
