Crusaders of Northern Ireland host Ekranas of Lithuania in this preliminary round match. Crusaders have never negotiated a single tie in European competition in their history. Winning 1 drawing 5 and losing 21 matches. Indeed they have lost every single match in Europe since 2008. . Ekranas are a well known side in the early rounds of European competition. Having played 48 matches in total with 14 wins, 7 draws and 27 losses. This is a good record for the early rounds and one to watch. Ekranas lost to FH of Iceland, Steaua Bucherest and Anderlecht in recent years in tough draws but have beaten Shamrock Rovers and Hapoel Tel Aviv. A higher level of opposition than Northern Ireland for sure.
