This all British clash promises to be one of the best ties of the qualifying round for the Europa League.  As always with a Scotland vs England tie, the fans will be even more vocal in getting behind their team and hoping to put one over on their old enemy.

Liverpool are coming off a poor start to their EPL campaign, they lost heavily to WBA 3-0 in a match where they conceded two penalties and had Daniel Agger sent off.  Tonight’s match will be a chance to get more familiar with boss Brendan Rodgers’ style of play and get some confidence back into the team.  Albeit the starting line-up won’t feature many big names such as Gerrard and Suarez.

Hearts have had a strong start to the SPL season and currently sit 2^nd in the league after three games.  They are yet to lose this season having won their opening fixture and following it up with 2 draws.  They will face a tougher test night though and it will be a struggle to contain such a strong Liverpool side.

Under 2.5 Goals is priced at 1.8 with the Over at 2.13.  The market seems to think Liverpool will have one eye on their weekend tie against Man City rather than fully exerting themselves tonight.  That is a sound theory with the news that Gerrard, Suarez, Johnson and Skrtel will not feature and we’ll be seeing a less prolific Liverpool team take the field.
