Great game at Goodison as Everton host Ukranians Dynamo Kiev. Everton have prospered in Europa while their league form has deteriorated. I don’t believe this relates to itself. I think its down to English sides knowing how to play them now. In Europe they seem to have more time and space on the flanks and this is where they are dangerous. In Europe this season they are 5 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss and the defeat was in a dead rubber as the group had already been won. Everton are without Baines, Hibbert, Oviedo and McGeady – but they do have a deep squad. A few doubts though with Atsu, Osman and Pienaar not 100%. Kiev are having their own troubles but more to do with the country. If the problems continue I can see the foreign players moving on. Kiev are with two key men here too with Belhanda and Rybalka both suspended. With injuries to Haruna, Makarenko and Selin. Sydorchuk, Lens and Shovkovsky are not fully fit either.
My bet of the day in Europa. You have to ignore the league form of Everton. As I said English sides now how to counter them now. In Europe however they are flourishing with the extra time and space. I take them -0.25 at 2.07 and wouldn’t put you off the outright win at 7-5 or 2.40.
