GENK V STUTTGART PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

This match is set up for an excellent finale after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.  Stuttgart knew taking a lead into the second leg was important and they came out strong in the first half and managed to take the lead through midfielder Christian Gentner.  The second half was a tight affair but Genk snuck in with an injury time equalizer through substitute Glynor Plet to give them an excellent chance of progressing.

Since that match Genk had a home match against Kortrijk which they comfortably won 2-0, setting them up well for this match.  They are still underdogs to the bigger German side but their strong performances over the past few weeks will give them plenty of confidence.

Stuttgart also got a win at the weekend, 1-0 away at Hoffenheim.  Travelling from that away match to this game isn’t ideal preparation but they will still feel they are the stronger side and can get the win.

GENK V STUTTGART PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

I feel Stuttgart have the higher quality side here and should be favourites.  They have not had ideal preparation with an away match at the weekend but a win there will have them in high spirits. 

Betsson is the place to go here and I’ll be backing Stuttgart to win at 2.60.
