LAZIO V BORUSSIA M’GLADBACH PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

The first leg of this tie was the best match of the round by far and saw the teams fight out an exciting 3-3 draw in Germany.  There were 3 lead changes with Gladbach taking a 1-0 lead into half time, before things exploded and Lazio raced to a 2-1 lead.  Gladbach thought two late goals had stolen the win for them but substitute Libor Kozak got his second goal of the game to level things at 3-3 in injury time.

Lazio had a tough time at the weekend, losing 3-0 away at Siena which is not ideal preparation for this match but they’ll feel as the home side they are still favourites to progress.

Gladbach also lost away from home, 1-0 against Hamburg and won’t be looking forward to a trip to Rome for another difficult match.
