LYON V CHERNOMORETS ODESSA : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP goals
Following a goalless first leg it’s all to play for in France for the second leg. Lyon, no longer the big gun in France following the big money injected into PSG and Monaco, still finished top of their group in qualifying. They fielded a weakened side for that first leg, where a betting move on the home side proved unsuccessful, and a similar line up can be expected for this return. Odessa had a better away record in their qualifying group than home to give hope to their prospects, and sitting fifth in the Ukraine league they should not be underestimated, as they are a very decent team.
A very tough game to predict with Lyon again likely to rest key players, and the best bet looks to be on the goals markets. Under 2.5 goals at 1.91(10/11)WilliamHill looks a bit of a steal after the goalless first leg. Lyon followed up with another 0-0 draw in the league last weekend, and this doesn’t look a goals galore game to me. Odessa is on their winter break league wise, but their games in Ukraine average just 1.71 goals per game, the lowest in that league. 1.91 seems very high for under 2.5 goals in ninety minutes, and it has to rate a more than decent bet.
