Napoli is 2nd in the Serie A this season with 15 wins in 24. At home Napoli is 9-2-1 (30-11 Goal Difference). Napoli has been rotating their squad quite a bit for the Europa League games, but still they crushed AIK 4-0 and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk 4-2. PSV beat Napoli away on the last matchday. However, Napoli was already qualified. So don’t read too much into that.

Napoli is in title winning form. They’re 4-1-1 in the Serie A after the winter break overall. At home they got 3 straight wins with a 9-1 goal difference.

Viktoria Plzen is top of the pops in the Czech Republic with 10 wins in 16. They’re 5-2-1 at home with a 14-5 Goal Difference. In the Europa League Plzen lost 1-0 away to Atletico Madrid (who rotated their squad a bit). They beat Hapoel Tel Aviv 2-1 and drew Academica of Portugal 1-1.

The winter break is still ongoing in the Czech Republic, so it is hard to say too much about what form Plzen is in. They have played some training matches, but these are seldom reliable fact sources. Not having had competitive games in a while is definitely going to be a drawback for this Czech side.
