Shmona are struggling in 8^th palce in Ligat ha’Al this season with 12 points from their first 10 matches.   They have won just one of their last 5 matches, drawing 2 and losing 2.  In the Europa League things are just as bad with no wins from 4 games and they are sitting 3^rd in the group with 2 points and need to win their last two games to qualify.

Athletic are also struggling this year and are 14^th in la liga with 14 points from 12 matches.  They have improved somewhat recently and won 2 in a row before a dominating 5-1 defeat to Real Madrid at the weekend.  The Europa League has been a disaster this season, after such an amazing run to the final last year, and they are bottom of the group with just 1 point form 4 games and out of the running to qualify.
