England host Slovenia here in a group that has seen a few suprises so far. England are just doing enough at the moment and seem to be solid enough. They have won all three games so far and have yet to concede. They’ve beaten San Marino by 5 as well as 1-0 away at Estonia and 2-0 at Group rivals Switzerland. Ross Barkley could slot straight into what will look a young England side. England are unbeaten in 5 matches and have yet to concede a goal since the group game against Uruguay in Brazil. England will again miss striker Sturridge while Carrick and Townsend sit out here too. Slovenia are in a bit of mixed form. They show 5 wins and 5 losses in the last 10 games with all of those featuring both teams score no! They won against Switzerland in a shock result in Ljubljana and then grabbed a 2-0 in Lithuania to put them in a good position.
I think England have enough here to grab another win and keep a clean sheet. England under Hodgson are very well organized and solid defensively. Slovenia do have a few threats but here with an 80,000 sell out roaring against them I don’t see a goal for them.
