MEXICO v BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Mexico made hard work of qualifying. Having to take a playoff intercontinental spot after performing poorly in CONCACAF. They finished 4^th in the final group, behind USA, Costa Rica and Honduras. One of the worst runs of any recent Mexican sides. They did have a comprehensive win over 2 legs against New Zealand though. Taking apart a poor side 9-3 on aggregate.  Mexico are a strange side at the moment because almost all of the ‘foreign’ players are ingnored in favour of Mexican league men. It’s a tried and tested wing back formation and Mexico could do better than expected I feel. Two decent wins in friendlies over the last week have boosted expectation. Israel were battered 3-0 and Ecuador dominated in a 3-1 – Israel at Azteca and Ecuador in Texas.  Key man Rafeal Marquez was injured in the latter game and will sit out here. While Luis Montes suffered a horror injury and is ruled out the world cup. Bosnia prepare for their first ever finals, and they qualified in style with an impressive (8-1-1) record which included 30 goals scored. An attack of Dzeko and Ibisevic was mainly responsible for that, and the impressive partnership will be key figures in the Bosnian challenge. Since qualifying Bosnia have suffered friendly losses to Argentina and Egypt but they recaptured their form with a 2-1 win over Ivory Coast.

Intriguing tie this one and for me an unmissible game to see how far both sides have come. For me you have to ignore Mexico’s struggle to qualify and they will be a dark horse. Bosnia will make the 2^nd round for sure and I think if they had more depth in the squad could be a danger. I am going with Mexico here who know the conditions and will rotate after a few games already this week so will be more the fresher of the two. Bosnia cannot really do that as they don’t have much quality on the bench. For me there will be goals here but I prefer ‘El Tri’
