When these two teams met in the European Championship Germany won 2-1. Germany is the overall better side, but away from home in friendlies they’re 1-4-1 in their last six. Both teams will be motivated in this one, but the home side will enjoy the support of their fans. In a derby friendly I can’t imagine anything else than that this must be a great advantage. When these two teams play one can’t help it, one expects the over 2.5 intuitively. However, in a match like this the certainty of such an outcome in my opinion is reduced. Friendlies can go either way. This one will most likely have a higher tempo than most friendlies these teams will ever play, but still; the mindset is slightly different when compared to competitive matches. It may not be a 50-50 scenario, but the 2.11 on the Under 2.5 goals with Betsson is a value play on my part. Especially when it is combined with the risk free €25 bet.
