Chile host Colombia in Santiago on Thursday looking for their third straight win in qualifiers. They have disposed of Brazil and Peru already with 6 scored and 3 conceded. Three out for Los Rojos with Aranguiz and Pizarro injured and Diaz suspended. Colombia doesn’t look a dangerous team as they were until recently. They do welcome back James Rodriguez and keeper Ospina which is a huge boost to them though. Although made of paper Falcao, Balanta and Valencia are all injured. Cuadrado is suspended while Zuniga and Armero were both dropped.
Colombia will be boosted by Rodriguez but I can’t see him being anywhere near peak fitness. Playing just twice in 2 months. Chile are a fast, positive side and at home a match for anyone.
