SPAIN – BELARUS: PREDICTIONS

Spain have found life in qualification a little tougher than normal but are still in a great position. Sitting atop of Group I with 14 points (same as France – but with a game in hand) Spain have lost points in this group which has been a surprise. Only winning 4 of their 6 games so far. Draws at home to France and amazingly Finland have showed everyone that Spain are far from infallible.  One major problem for Spain has been scoring. Fernando Torres is not starting regularly for his team and that has cost him here. Michu of Swansea has gained a well earned call up after a fantastic season last year. Spain are courting Diego Costa of Atletico Madrid and his nationality change from Brazil will be confirmed soon enough.

Belarus sit rock bottom of this smaller group and have found the level here very tough indeed. A decent side with some good individual talent they have been found out here though. With no minnows in the group at all they have only managed 1 win and 1 draw – losing all other games.  A win over Georgia and a draw with Finland are the only positive results.

SPAIN – BELARUS: BETTING TIPS

This game is a nailed on home win but odds as short as 1.03 are too prohibitive. I look to other markets for value and do think Belarus will not be troubling the scorer here.

I take Spain Win To Nil at 1.44 with WilliamHill – The price has gone right off and is as short as 1.25 elsewhere.

With Belarus very unlikely to score and pretty much set up to defend they should be able to keep the score down at least in the 1^st half.
