Ukraine have had a slow start to qualifying after two draws. However one was away to group favourites England in a game they bossed from start to finish. A 1-1 draw was undeserved for England and may come back to haunt Ukraine. Team wise the side remains from Euro 2012 with Shevchenko the only difference. Last time out Ukraine made the short trip to Moldova in a match that was deemed a formality. However despite totally dominating the game and creating many chances Ukraine had to settle for 0-0 draw. The game was overshadowed by the empty seat in the dugout after legendary coach Oleg Blokhin was left back home after undergoing surgery. This seemed to hang heavy over the team who were unusually lethargic.
Montenegro continue to fly up the FIFA rankings as they pick up results during 2012. After a dismal 2011 where the Balkan state only picked up one win this year they go from strength to strength. Like all former Yugoslavian nations the players are technically proficient and this side has some real quality upfront. Stevan Jovetic and Mirko Vucinic are both top class and a handful for any defence. In the opening game at home to Poland the home side were the better team. Poland had to battle hard and did just enough to snatch a point. Last time out Montenegro faced up to San Marino, in a waste of 90 minutes play they demolished the useless part timers 6-0. In a totally one sided game Montengro took apart San Marino in a clinical way. Performing far greater than group leaders England managed on Friday.

3.82 The Draw (Pinnacle)is the selection in this game. Both sides are closer than you would think. Ukraine are a solid side fair enough but I think they will struggle in this game. I would say Montenegro are not that far behind Ukraine in quality levels they are just lacking in experience. The Draw seems a huge price here in a game where coach Blokhin will be absent again. Ukraine were very poor in the final third in the Moldova game. If Ukraine cannot score against the hapless Moldovans they have no chance against Montenegro.

Montenegro is the pick here +1 at 1.69 (Pinnacle) Ukraine are too short here for me and are rudderless at the moment without legendary leader Blokhin. Montenegro are underrated by the bookmakers at the moment and are a very capable unit. They are constantly pitched in tough groups as their ranking is low due to their new country status. They are not far below Ukraine in terms of quality and actually have better players within their ranks. This bet gives us the draw and Montenegro plus the added bonus of cash back for a 1 goal defeat.

Under 2.50 1.91 (Pinnacle) is the bet here. This is a huge price for me and quite a surprise when the prices came out. This is a very close game and one between two sides with very proficient defences. The statisics are slightly skewered by San Marino's 6 goal loss but take that out and Montenegro are averaging around 2.50 goals per game. In total without the San Marino game unders has paid out 6 of the last 9 games. In what is a very tight group expect few goals in these games.
