WALES V CROATIA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS
Wales look to get their second straight win and put a halt to Croatia’s challenge at the top of Group A.
Wales came from behind again to beat Scotland at Hampden on Friday night, the big turning point being a 72nd minute penalty for Wales and red card for Scotland’s Robert Snodgrass. Wales only had star player Gareth Bale for the first half but managed to win without him, shedding the one man team image that many had given them in the build-up to the game. Bale has trained this week and is likely to be available for this match which is certainly a boost for the team.
Croatia won again, this time 2-0 at home to Serbia and keep pace with Belgium at the top of the table with 13 points after 5 matches. With Belgium playing a poor Macedonia side this week, Croatia know they need to win here to keep the pressure on.
WALES V CROATIA PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW
Wales will take confidence in the win away in Scotland but Croatia are a different class of opposition and will prove a much sterner test. If Bale is fully fit and plays 90 minutes then Wales certainly have a chance but it is still a big ask and they are quite large outsiders.
I think the value is with them though and will be putting a bet on a Wales home win at 5.25 with Betsson.
