France take on Belarus for the 2nd consecutive qualifying competition, they will hope to avenge their 1-0 home loss last time out. The two sides will hope for improvement after two lack-lustre opening games in this current campaign.

France went to Finland and done the business with a 1-0 win, however they did not get out of first gear and will need a better level of performance if they want to challenge Spain. They lined up in a 4-1-4-1 which saw Menez and Ribery in wide areas with Diaby and Cabaye behind Benzema. Ribery was largely anonymous and Menez was replaced after an ineffective shift. Diaby's was the impressive performance as dominated the midfield. France looked strong defensively and were tested several times but rarely stretched. Belarus were dissappointing in their close hop to Georgia. In a match neither team could grasp they were undone by some sloppy defending. They offered little offensively and were just about the poorer side, maybe a point was a fair result. Lining up in a 4-2-3-1 formation Belarus have been on a poor run of late and are struggling.

Betting Prediction - Should be a home win for France and the price of 1.28 (willhill) looks a fair price. Belarus will set themselves up to try and defend deep and maybe nick the points like in the last fixture. This looks highly unlikely though, Belarus are struggling as a unit and may be just happy to avoid a big loss. This looks a tight game and Under 2.50 goals at 2.02 (pinnacle) looks a big price.
