As usual Furth will try to avoid conceding, and hoping that there will be some chances coming their way on breaks. Mainz 05 should be able to control this game possession wise. They’ll be looking for Szalai to carry his good Bundesliga form forward. 9 goals in 18 is a good rate for the 25 year old Hungarian striker. 

My call is the away win. It is just as much a bet against Furth as it is a bet on Mainz. The odds for the away win just seem too good for me to stay away from. The Mainz price has come under some pressure, and I am surprised to still see 2.40 with William Hill. That price will not stand come kick off!
